As a gaijin living in Japan and struggling to learn kanji one thing that strikes me about these people who get kanji/hanzi tattoos is that they are LAZY! They dont put the time or effort into learning the language but rather want to pretentiously show off as though they have earned that kanji. Keep it up I say!
