The tattoo above suppose to be the simplified version of the character "dragon". Except the tattoo artist has decide to put the "dragon" on another level of cultural diet, oversimplified it by neglecting an important dot.
Here is the correct "dragon":
Simplifed version:
龙Traditional version:
龍
ps. thanks to tattoo artist (or parlors) like this, this site will never run out of material...
Oh dear you appear to have broken their site!
ReplyDeleteLove this blog, keep up the good work!
poons
At least this one's easy to fix. Just have the artist add a dot on the top...
ReplyDeleteThe traditional character looks way better though.
This is a great site! I wonder if it's a good or bad thing regarding the limitless supply of material you can post. I guess good; how can one go wrong mocking people?
ReplyDeleteDunno about 'dragon', as I'm not familiar with Chinese characters (the Japanese kanji for dragon is, afaik, 竜)... But this could also be interpreted as a botched, yet strikingly close version of 友 (tomo: friend, pal)...
ReplyDeleteThat site linked has the WORST tattoos I've ever seen. The messed up character is the least horrendous of the bunch... the most horrendous would definitely have to be that obscene, naked goat-woman holding a suspiciously shaped candle. The mind boggles.
