"Large Domesticated Live Stock"

Genetic modification gone awry or simply tattoo negligence?

The second character is missing a dot.

= big, great, vast, large, high

= livestock, domestic animals

It has bad leather, can't make anything decend out of it. The best thing would be a pair of grandpa loafers.

  4. Is there a plug-in or something i need to install to see the characters? Both Firefox and IE show up as ? or a blank. Running NJStar doesn't do anything either...

  5. If you are using WinXP or 2000, you shouldn't do anything, they would appear without user interaction. Check if the character encoding is in Automatic.

If you are on win9x or ME, you should log into windows update and download the support for chinese language. AFAIK, that's all you need.

  8. hello,

    for many calligraphy styles,
the word 畜 can indeed miss that dot.

  9. Or you could use Mozilla's Firefox, which is a much better browser and doesn't require you to do something extra to include what should have been there in the first place.

  10. Maybe it's supposed to be for Taurus. Large Livestock, like a bull? Stupid either way, but that's my best guess.

  11. In 周易, there is this phrase: 山天大畜. '大畜' can mean 'huge stock(pile)' of anything, not just 'large livestock.'

  12. 天在山中,大畜,君子以多識前言往行,以畜其德
"大畜"is one of the 64 signs in 易經. It is a mediocre sign depending on who the bearer is. I
n general "大畜" represents instability or travelling.
