  1. Well, in Japanese you CAN read those characters as Yolanda actually... I wouldn't use those though.

  2. Yo-Ran-Da is a viable reading as a name but foreign names should be in katakana, not kanji!

    ヨランダ would be right, then.

    I think I like it better as "rice field of excess discord", though.

    余=>yo
    乱=>ran
    田=>da
